One fish I really wanted to catch.

I had seen this carp swimming around the lake for four years and had tried for it close in stalking style on a few occasions, only to have it back away at the last moment!
By the spring of 2007 and i had done my apprenticeship and learned its tracks well.

Eventually i caught it out of lenny’s after moving around the lake.
I spotted the carp rolling in the bay but i spent 2-3 fruitless hours on the bar trying to trap one when i decided to move into Lenny’s and fish the snag and the ‘hump’.
I saw a big common roll over my bait but i did not realise it was the Koi until it was in the net, Pukka!

In 2008 i managed to catch it again at 25lb.
